Conversational Form

A conversational form shows one question at a time, like a chat, instead of showing every field on one page.

How conversational forms work

Each question fills the screen. The respondent answers, then moves to the next question with a button or the Enter key. A progress indicator shows how far they are. Skip logic can change which question comes next.

The format is often called "Typeform style", because Typeform made it popular.

Example

A lead form asks for a name, then a company, then a team size, then a budget. Each answer gets its own screen, so on a phone the respondent never scrolls past fields they have not reached yet.

Why it matters

One question at a time makes a form feel shorter and keeps attention on the current question. It works well on mobile, where a long page of fields is hard to read.
